Peaceful Places is the result of many years as a registered nurse and aging parents.

 

I had patients who experienced isolation and loneliness after a major health event because they couldn’t return safely to their lifelong home, and family members lived away.

My mother and mother-in-law expressed a desire to maintain their independence and stay in their homes as long as they could.

​

Staying at home meant better organizing their home; downsizing by deciding what to keep, sell, donate or gift; and relocating furniture or rooms to ensure their safety and ease of access.
